Beverly Ackermann Shoop and son Michael A. Shoop are co-owners of Ackermann’s Swim Program which has been teaching children to swim for more than 60 years. They provide children ages 4-11 group swimming lessons in a non-competitive and safe environment in which to build confidence and self-esteem by teaching the life skills of swimming and water safety. Andrews Academy Summer Program is a summer day camp for children entering kindergarten through grade six in the fall. The camp is located on a wooded campus with an air-conditioned building and an in-ground pool offering campers a multitude of activities administered by experienced camp counselors.
