Moving day: House relocates in Cottleville

Traffic on Hwy. N in Cottleville was stopped Friday morning as the well-known Sargent Log Cabin from Eagle Hill Lane was moved to its new home at Legacy Park. The half-mile trip took about an hour.

The 1,500-square-foot cabin will mark the trailhead for the new Cottleville Trail, near Cottleville City Hall, at the northwest corner of St. Charles Street and Hwy. N.

The Sargent Log Cabin was donated to the city of Cottleville by Jeff Kolb several years ago.
