The Rockwood Swim Club (RSCA) continues to add to its impressive resume of championships and record times. The club also has a coach who was inducted into the Ozark Swimming Hall of Fame.
High school swimming
Coach Kristen Kaiser is still reveling in her Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School (MIDCS) girls finishing fourth in the recent state meet. Only two teams (third in 2000 and second in 1995) have done better.
While Kaiser said she hoped her team would do well at the meet, the girls exceeded her expectations.
Eureka swimmer wins two state titles, sets two state records
Wanting to wash away her second-place finishes last year, Eureka High School senior Amber Green reached her goal of winning two state championships and setting two state records in the process.
