Parkway Central Ropes In The Longhorns To Clinch Spot In The Post-Season
A punishing defense and a fourth quarter burst in offense helped the Parkway Central Colts gallop to a 17-0 victory over the Parkway West Longhorns Friday night. With this win at home and Kirkwood's loss to Parkway North, Central (9-2) clinched the runner-up spot in their district, a designation that earns the Colts a spot in the first round of the playoffs, which start next week. This game also brought the season of West (4-6) to an end.
