Thursday, March 18th

  • "Ask the Doctor"

    6:00pm – 7:30pm

    "Ask the Doctor" is from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thurs., March 18 at St. Luke's Women's Center (6 McBride and Son Center Drive, Suite 102, in Chesterfield). A casual conversation with a radiologist specializing in breast health is featured. Food and drink are served. Admission is free, and mammograms are available for a fee with insurance accepted.     The St. Louis Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Support Group meets from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sat., March 20 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in the first floor auditorium of the main building.   • Putting Your Best Foot Forward

    “Putting Your Best Foot Forward,” a health class for senior citizens, is from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Mon., March 22 at Living Word Church (17315 Manchester Road in Wildwood). Admission is free. Call 821-2800.

Wednesday, March 24th

  • Hospice Teleconference

    12:30pm – 3:00pm

    The 17th annual Hospice Teleconference will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wed., March 24, in the SSB auditorium at St. Charles Community College. This years’ subject focuses on Living with Grief: Cancer and End-of-Life Care. Registration is $15 per person and lunch will be available for an additional $8. Attendees may also purchase a book and/or stay for continuing education credits for $25. Attendees working in a hospice organization will have their $15 registration fee waived. Seating is limited. Professionals may register online at baue.com or call 946-4042. Registration closes March 22.

Thursday, March 25th

  • Presentation on sleep disorders

    6:30pm – 7:15pm

    SSM Hospital West will have a presentation on sleep disorders from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on Thurs., March 25 in the community education room of the H.W. Koenig Medical Building located at 400 Medical Plaza Drive in Lake Saint Louis. Tours of the SSM Center for Sleep Disorders at St. Joseph, plus free screenings, will be offered from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event is free and refreshments will be served. Saturday, April 10th

  • CPR for Family & Friends

    9:00am – 11:30am

    The Ellisville Parks Department holds “CPR for Family & Friends” from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sat., April 10 at the Park Administration Center in Bluebird Park. Attendees learn in an American Heart Association course CPR skills for the lay rescuer. Certified instructors teach child and adult CPR skills and first aid for choking with hands-on practice. All participants must be age 12 or older. The fee is $30 per person. To register (required), call 227-7508.
