Grab your bike, a light and hit the trails at night.
With mountain bike experts leading the way, ride by the light of the full moon through the woods and prairies of St. Charles County’s regional park trails system. Experience the natural surface trails after hours with members of Gateway Off-Road Cyclists (GORC) and St. Louis Area Mountain Biker’s (SLAMB).
The first ride is from 7:30 p.m. until 10 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at BroemmelsiekPark, 1615 Schwede Rd., (off Highway DD /Winghaven Blvd.) just south of O’Fallon. Additional rides are scheduled at a different park each month through the end of the year.
Helmets and lights are required. Participants are responsible for providing their own equipment for each ride, which is open to cyclists of all ages and skill levels.
No registration is needed to participate in these free trail ride opportunities. If unfavorable trail conditions exist, contact the St. Charles County Parks Closure/Cancellation Hotline at 949-7475 before heading out.
