As Mid Rivers Mall undergoes a multi-million dollar renovation project, it is donating 25 pallets of new floor tile to the Habitat for Humanity St. Charles ReStore, located at 130 Trade Center Drive West in St. Peters. The tile was in storage as replacement pieces for the mall’s existing flooring, which will be replaced as part of the renovation project.
On Time Express, a locally owned courier service, is donating the delivery of the tile to Habitat for Humanity St. Charles ReStore, which is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19.
“We are delighted to donate this tile to support help the mission of Habitat for Humanity,” said Sean C. Phillips, regional marketing director for CBL Malls, which owns and manages Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters. “We also want to thank On Time Express for partnering with us on this effort.”
In addition to new flooring, the mall is also updating the interior color palette, upgrading lighting with new energy-efficient fixtures, and adding new amenities including soft seating areas and holiday décor. The project is slated to be completed in time for the 2013 holiday shopping season.
