St. Charles Police investigating holdup outside Golden Corral

The St. Charles Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 11 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, at The Golden Corral, in the 1800 block of Zumbehl Road, in the city of St. Charles.
The victim had just locked up the business and was walking to his vehicle in the parking lot of the business. The suspect confronted the victim and pointed a handgun at the victim. The suspect ordered the victim to give the suspect all of his money. The victim gave the suspect personal items and the suspect fled the area, last seen running through the parking lot.
The suspect was described as black male, unknown age, 5-foot 9-inches to 5-foot 11-inches tall, medium build, weighing about 170 to 180 pounds. The suspect was wearing a dark colored zip-up hoodie with the hood up and a gray scarf covering most of his face.
