The Wentzville School District Board of Education has approved the hiring of Pam Frazier as chief financial officer for the 2013-14 school year, replacing Kari Monsees who was recently named the new superintendent of the Raymore-Peculiar School District.
Frazier is a native of Warren County and a graduate of Warrenton High School. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Columbia College and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Lindenwood University. Frazier is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, and spent several years in the banking industry before joining the Warren County School District, where she has served as the chief financial officer for the past nine years.
In 2009 she was named the president of the Greater St. Louis Association of School Business Officials, and this year the Warren County School District received the Meritorious Budget Award from the ASBO.
“I am looking forward to being a part of the Wentzville School District. Being part of a team that emphasizes student success and provides its students the resources and opportunities they need to reach their full potential will be a truly rewarding experience,” Frazier said. “I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to provide a positive contribution to the Wentzville School District, helping to prepare all students for our evolving society.”
Frazier will take over as CFO on July 1, 2013.
