The design-build contractor has been hired for the third and final phase of Route 364, the Page Avenue extension, through the heart of St. Charles County. The contractor’s design and construction schedule will be available for public viewing at an open house meeting set for 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, at the St. Charles Community College Rotunda. The Route 364 project will include construction of a new four-lane divided highway from Hwy. 94 at Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters to I-64 and Hwy. N in Lake Saint Louis.
Residents, businesses and commuters interested in learning about the new road and its major cross street interchanges are invited to attend the open house. No presentations will be made, but the public is welcome to view the displays and discuss the project with the engineers. Information will also be posted on the project Web site at www.modot.org/route364.
The property needed for the project has been or is in the process of being acquired. Design of the new roadway is currently underway. Construction is scheduled to begin in May with completion in late fall 2014.
For more information or to sign up for email updates on the project, visit www.modot.org/route364.
