The Andrew Olson Foundation has donated $7,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. Created in 2009 in memory of Andrew Olson, son of Dave and Jacqueline Olson of Wildwood, the Andrew Olson Foundation cares for families affected by childhood cancer. In recent years, it has sent families to Disney World, provided Christmas gifts to families, and funded an Eagle Scout remodeling project at the Howard Park Early Childhood Center.
