Lee Wagner, director of Early Childhood Programs at Immanuel Lutheran School in St. Charles, has been selected as the 2013 Distinguished Lutheran Early Childhood Administrator by the Lutheran Education Association. She received her award at the LEA’s National Administrators Conference, held Feb. 6, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Wagner is credited with expanding Immanuel’s Early Childhood Program from two rooms to a five-classroom center. The program currently serves about 120 children from ages 2 through 5. As one colleague wrote, “Lee has dedicated countless hours to meeting with prospective parents, hosting prospective student tours, and maintaining a classroom that is energizing and engaging to her students.”
Immanuel Lutheran School is located at 115 S. Sixth Street in St. Charles, and is a member of the St. Louis-based Lutheran Elementary School Association (LESA). For more information on enrollment, visit www.immanuelstcharles.org.
