SSM Health Care to host Glee Choir, community invited to watch

SSM Health Care – St. Louis is in pursuit of undiscovered talent for its SSM Mission Glee Choir and will be holding a “X-Factor” themed casting call for all its employees during the week of Feb. 11-19. Employees are invited to audition by singing and dancing in front of an audience in each of the hospital cafeterias. Participants will be scored based on their vocal range, rhythm and pizzazz. The community is invited to come and check out the fun.
The top performers will win a spot on the SSM Mission Glee Choir and perform at the Touhill Performing Arts Center during Mission Days. Mission Days is an annual three-day celebratory event put on by SSM Health Care – St. Louis. Held April 2-4, employees will gather to become re-energized in their mission and goal to “Make Everything Possible!” The organization will recognize accomplishments made throughout the year while entertaining the crowd through lively singing and dancing acts.
All auditions will take place from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the hospital café on the following dates/locations:
• Monday, Feb. 11 – SSM St. Joseph Hospital West
• Monday, Feb. 11 – SSM St. Joseph Hospital West
• Tuesday, Feb. 12 – SSM St. Mary’s Health Center
• Wednesday, Feb. 13 – SSM St. Joseph Health Center
• Thursday, Feb. 14 – SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center
• Friday, Feb. 15 – SSM St. Clare Health Center
• Tuesday, Feb. 19 – SSM DePaul Health Center
