Rep. Don Gosen (R-Chesterfield) has been named chairman of the St. Louis Regional Caucus. Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal (D-University City) has agreed to vice-chair the caucus.
This legislative group includes House and Senate members from St. Louis City and surrounding counties. The caucus discusses issues — both local and regional — that directly impact the St. Louis area. Currently 63 members of the General Assembly participate in the St. Louis Regional Caucus.
Most meetings will be held in St. Louis City and County. Organizations, companies and educational institutions are encouraged to contact Rep. Gosen or Sen. Chappelle-Nadal about topics of interest that will help better showcase the region’s talents and share its importance with the rest of the legislature.
“My objective is to encourage a non-partisan environment to promote issues which will have a positive influence on the St. Louis area economy” Rep. Gosen said.
