The Wentzville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving an armed robbery. At about 7:40 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 27, an unknown white male entered the Amoco BP Gas Station located at 1450 S. Service Rd., in Wentzville. Police said the suspect brandished a silver semi-automatic pistol and demanded that the cashier give him all of the money in the cash register. The cashier opened the cash register and handed over the cash.
Police said the suspect left the business and ran east, away from the building.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot 2-inches tall, about 185 to 200 pounds, was wearing a black Pizza Hut ball cap, black sweatshirt with a white solid stripe down both sleeves and unknown white logo on left chest, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
The Wentzville Police Department is currently working leads on this case, but would appreciate any further information that the public can provide. Call Det.. Blake Roth at 639-2127 or e-mail him at blakeney.roth@wentzvillemo.org with any information regarding the crime.
