Conoco station robbed at gunpoint

O’Fallon police are looking for the person who robbed the Conoco gas station at 1060 Bryan Road overnight.
Police say at approximately midnight on Dec. 7, they received a call of an armed robbery of the station. The suspect went into the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. Police said the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured during the holdup. An extensive search of the area failed to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a tall, very thin white male, approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 150 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a flannel plaid jacket with a gray hood, blue jeans, glasses, and black and white tennis shoes.
This is an active ongoing investigation. The O’Fallon Police Department is requesting assistance. Anyone with information on this robbery is urged to contact Det. Jodi Weber, at 379-5633.
