Ballwin man held on sodomy charges

A 20-year-old Ballwin man is being held in St. Louis County jail on a cash-only bond of $50,000.
Kevin O’Shaughnessy, of the 200 block of Spring Oaks Drive in Ballwin, was indicted Oct. 24 on charges of forcible sodomy. The alleged incident took place on Aug. 15 in unincorporated West St. Louis County near the intersection of Olive and Lindbergh.
He is accused of holding down a women and sexually touching her while an accomplice guarded the door.
O’Shaughnessy is scheduled for his next court appearance on Oct. 31.
