The Francis Howell Central Spotlight Players will perform the comedy, “The Boys Next Door” at 7 p.m., on Nov. 8 through Nov. 10, at the FHC theater. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
“The Boys Next Door” is a comedy-drama about four intellectually disabled men who live together in a small apartment – and Jack, the caring social worker who is on the verge of career burn-out. Mingled with scenes from the daily lives of these four, where little things sometimes become momentous (and often very funny), are moments of great poignancy when, with touching effectiveness, we are reminded that the handicapped, like the rest of us, want only to love and laugh and find some meaning and purpose in the brief time that they, like their fortunate brothers, are allotted on this earth.
Tickets are $8 at the door and $7 at lunches. For show and ticket information please contact michelle.moll@fhsdschools.org.
