Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service and its Social Justice Committee will sponsor the 2012 Meet the Candidates Night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, at Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service,4116 McClay Road in St. Charles.

The purpose of this event is to aid voters in St. Charles County in making informed decisions at the voting polls in November. The event will introduce the 2012 election candidates to the public in an informal setting. Each candidate will have their own table and will be available to meet with voters one on one to answer their questions.  Fifteen local and state candidates have confirmed attendance.

Voters of St. Charles Countyare encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to meet and speak with the 2012 election candidates for federal, state and St. Charles County offices.

Miriam Mahan, executive director for Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service, care service volunteers, and political science students from local colleges and universities urge voters to attend the event. Refreshments will be served.
