FHHS ‘Drive 4UR School’ event set for Oct. 20

The Francis Howell High School (FHHS) Class of 2015 Parent Club is inviting all drivers 18 years and older to participate in a Ford Drive4UR School Event to be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at Bryan Middle School,605 Independence Rd. in St. Charles. Parent Club volunteers will ride along on the test drive near Bryan Middle School, so there are no sales pitches or pressure.

“Proceeds from the event will benefit the Class of 2015 substance-free, all night graduation party,” said Teri Bellamy, co-chair for the club. “Working with Ford’s program has given us the opportunity to raise funds for our kids graduation celebration; all we need is participants to come out and take a fun, short test drive at our event on Oct. 20. There is no cost and no hassles. Just a little bit of your time benefits our future graduates.”

For everyone who drives one of the new 2013 models that will be available, Ford will make a donation to the FHHS 2015 Parent Club. In addition, with a $10 donation drivers 21 and older can take a spin in a Ford Mustang.  Every test driver will automatically be entered in a drawing for a $100 gas card.  An additional $50 gas card will be raffled off to those who take a drive in the Mustang or make a $10 donation. Ford will also enter each driver into its corporate drawing for a new 2013 Ford Escape.
