‘A Night in Nepal’ will help fund medical trek

The Himalayan Family Healthcare Project brings medical supplies and services to Nepal.
The Himalayan Family Healthcare Project, an organization that partners locally with Chesterfield-based Wings of Hope and Saint Louis University School of Medicine, is hosting “A Night in Nepal” to raise money to buy medicine and medical supplies to take on a medical trek to Nepal. The fundraiser will take place on Oct. 20 from 5-10 p.m. at the Saint Louis University School of Health Sciences and will feature a traditional Nepalese buffet catered by Everest Café, wine and soft drinks, Nepalese dancing, Nepali music and an auction of imported crafts.
The Himalayan Family Healthcare Project is a local nonprofit dedicated to providing primary health care services to the people of Nepal’s Manang District and surrounding areas. It is headed by Everest Café owner and Nepali native, Devi States.
