It is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 6, at The Meadows in Lake Saint Louis. The Good Samaritan Pleasure Boaters Club is sponsoring the event, along with a 5K run/1-mile walk at 4 p.m. at the center.
Oktoberfest runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. It benefits civic projects by the Ambassadors of Lake Saint Louis. Last year, Oktoberfest was held at The Meadows—where Rocktoberfest is this year.
The Ambassadors raise funds for the city’s Independence Day fireworks display, high school scholarships, Eagle Scout projects, and other activities, Little said. Oktoberfest will have a carnival, food, vendors, and beer.
Rocktoberfest will have the run and walk followed by food, drinks, and music by the Dave Glover Band after 7 p.m. Race event information may be found at www.t2trun.org.
