Firefighters local hosts dedication, reception

The Professional Firefighters of Eastern Missouri (PFEM) IAFF Local 2665 hosted a Firefighter Memorial Dedication on Saturday, Sept. 22. The memorial dedication took place at the Professional Firefighters of Eastern Missouri Union Hall and Sports Complex located at 115 McMenamy Road in St. Peters. The event paid tribute to all current firefighters, paramedics, and dispatchers and to those who have lost their lives protecting the community.
Many local and state legislators were in attendance. The evening concluded with a reception and live music from the Smash Band.
PFEM Local 2665 is the sole representative for the counties of St. Louis, Jefferson, Franklin, St. Charles, St. Genevieve, Lincoln, Warren, and Crawford, Mo. With more than 2,000 active and retired members and still growing, Local 2665 is the largest Local in the I.A.F.F. 2nd District, which includes the states of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska.
