DWI checkpoint planned for this weekend in St. Charles

The St. Charles Police Department will be hosting a multijurisdictional DWI checkpoint during the weekend of Sept. 21 to Sept. 23.

Officers from the St. Charles Police department will be joined by officers from the St. Peters Police Department and deputies from the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department and other agencies.  While the exact location of the operation is not being disclosed it will be within the city of St. Charles.

The operation is being funded by a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation, Division of Highway and Traffic Safety.
