St. Louis Bread Company offers $10,000 prize for best new sandwich

Panera (St. Louis) Bread Company, in conjunction with The Learning Chanel, is looking for the best new sandwich in the U.S.

Would-be sandwich creators can submit their ideas online through October 6.  The winner will receive a grand prize of $10,000, free bagels for a year, a $500 gift certificate and a featured placement on the Panera Bread menu in January.

The top four runners-up will each receive $1,000 in cash and a $150 Panera Bread gift card.
