Thanks to Mother Nature, the Marquette Mustangs and Lafayette Lancers will have to wait one more day to renew their rivalry on the gridiron.
The game at Lafayette was postponed just before 7 p.m. Friday night due to severe thunderstorms that raced through the West County area compromising players, officials, and fan safety.
As a result, the game has been moved to Saturday at 6 p.m. at Lafayette.
Several other area games of note that were moved back to Saturday include Summit at Parkway North at 12 p.m, St. Louis University High at CBC at 2 p.m., Parkway West at Kirkwood at 2 p.m. , Priory at John Burroughs at 2:30 p.m., Fort Zumwalt West at Chaminade at 3 p.m., and Vianney at DeSmet at 4 p.m.
