Bringing back the sounds of classic rock ‘n roll from the mid-1960s, 1970s and early 1980s to Civic Park, Stray Bullet will perform, free, from 6:30 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14, in O’Fallon. Admission and parking are free.

The band’s song list includes music by the Doobie Brothers, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Grand Funk, Led Zeppelin, the Doors, Deep Purple, James Gang, ZZ Top, Bad Company, Badfinger, Nazareth, Trapeze and more. All four members of the band provide vocals, with Guy Kingsbury on lead vocals and guitar, Rick Littlejohn on guitar and keyboard, Jim Bodart on drums and Larry Phillips on bass guitar.

The city of O’Fallon’s Jammin’ Outdoor Concerts are sponsored by the O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Department with support from local businesses. The free concerts are held from 6:30 – 9 p.m. each Tuesday evening through Aug. 21, with free parking and admission. Lawn seating is available around the Civic Park bandstand, and snacks and beverages are available from vendors. An ADA-accessible playground, walking path and restrooms are located nearby, No glass containers are allowed in the park. Directions: On I-70, take Exit 217 at highways K and M (Main Street). Drive north approximately one-half mile onMain Street. After crossing the railroad tracks, make an immediate left turn (west) onto Civic Park Drive. The park is on the right about three blocks down.
