Ballwin Legion baseball to host fall tryouts Aug. 5 and 12

Ballwin Post 611 American Legion baseball will host fall tryouts on Aug. 5 and Aug. 12 at Ellisville Athletic Association.

Class A/Freshman tryouts (incoming high school freshmen) will be held Aug 5 at Ellisville Athletic Association field #1 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then on Aug. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (High school incoming freshman may not turn 16 before May 1, 2013).

Class AA/Junior Varsity tryouts (incoming high school sophomores) will be held at Ellisville Athletic Association field #1 on Aug. 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and then again on Aug. 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The tryouts are open to players that live in the Marquette and Lafayette school areas as well as any private school players from those areas.

Ellisville Athletic Association is located at 2301 Westhills Park Drive in Ellisville, MO.
