Police continue search for burglary suspect

St. Charles police are looking for a man who entered a residence through an unlocked back door and stole items including credit cards which were later used at several retailers throughout the metropolitan area. The burglary occurred overnight, Feb. 7.
The man is described as a white male, mid 30s to early 40s, stocky build, moustache/goatee. Police said he was believed to be driving a small to mid-sized pickup truck, that was white with a white camper shell – possibly a Ford Ranger.
St. Charles Police also asks that everyone take personal security measures seriously. Keep doors and windows locked even when at home and before going to bed at night, make sure garage doors are closed and that your vehicle is secured regardless of whether it is parked inside or outside.
