Manchester Citizen Police Academy now accepting applications

The Manchester Police Department is accepting applications for its 2012 Citizen Police Academy, which begins on the evening of Tues., Jan. 10. Sessions will be from 7-9 p.m. for 10 weeks and will be held at the Manchester Police facility, 200 Highlands Blvd.
Citizen Police Academy classes are designed to provide citizens with an in-depth look at the police department’s law enforcement operations and its working relationships with other emergency responders. There will be opportunities for a ride-along with police.
Applications may be obtained at the Manchester Police Department, by calling 227-1410 and online at www.manchestermo.gov.
