FBI investigating bank robbery in Des Peres

The FBI is assisting in the investigation of a bank robbery that occurred around 2:40 p.m. yesterday (Nov. 21) at the U.S. Bank in Des Peres.

The suspect is described as a white male who is about 6 feet tall, weighs roughly 200 pounds and is approximately 30 years old. He was further described as having a thin, unshaven face and was wearing a royal blue sweatshirt at the time of the crime.

According to Des Peres police, the suspect approached a bank employee with a note demanding money. No weapon was displayed at the time.
