The Schnucks store in Des Peres is one of a handful of St. Louis grocery stores selling commemorative packages of Wheaties FUEL honoring Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols.
Wheaties FUEL issued the limited-edition Pujols packages of cereal following the Cardinals’ World Series championship victory, offering them exclusively in St. Louis at just six grocery stores, beginning at 8 a.m. on Sat., Oct. 29.
The boxes are available, while supplies last, at the Schnucks at 12332 Manchester Road in Des Peres.
Pujols’ strong play helped lead the Cardinals to the World Series championship, including a historic Game Three performance in which he hit three home runs and collected six RBIs en route to a 16-7 victory.
Pujols previously was honored on the original Wheaties box in 2005 and is one of five athletes who helped co-create Wheaties FUEL.
The limited-edition Albert Pujols Wheaties FUEL box marks an especially exclusive offer for the iconic Wheaties brand.
