A 2009 Jeep Liberty crashed through the front door of Lazy River Grill in Manchester at approximately 3:50 a.m. on Aug. 4, causing significant damage to the restaurant.

Police arrived to find the abandoned vehicle and later located two suspects, both young men, who apparently fled the scene on foot immediately after the accident. The two men have been taken into custody, according to Manchester Police Chief Tim Walsh. Their names have not been released.

Lazy River Grill owner John Marciano said he expected the restaurant, located at 631 Big Bend, would be closed for repairs for about a week.

Lazy River Grill was closed at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
